Mark Smiley is the Vice President of Professional Services at Covalence Consulting. He has worked in the HCM industry for 20+ years in various pre-sales, consultancy, program management, delivery, architecture, and leadership roles with software providers and clients alike.
Mark has successfully built and led diverse teams both domestically and internationally while creating implementation & education practices in HCM and WFM workstreams. He loves working closely with partners, has run complex client-side programs, and has helped customers optimize their organizations through education, process re-engineering, and professional service offerings. Over the years, Mark has successfully implemented HCM for many customers across the manufacturing, healthcare, hospitality, retail, public sector, and other verticals within the Enterprise, Mid-Market, and SMB segments. He is recognized for his voice-of-the-customer attitude, team-building, collaborative nature, leadership, and management style. Mark prioritizes customers, champions collaboration, upholds accountability, believes in transparency, and subscribes to the values of honesty and integrity.
